But it’s no wonder! Kevin takes the well considered design of the Gibby jumbo and he elevates it to the highest possible level. This guitar, in particular, just floors us. It is light, it is right, it is warm and responsive in every desirable way. It could be called the pinnacle of the short scale jumbo style. In other words, it’s real nice!! It reminds us why we not only sell but OWN Kopp guitars, personally. Nothing else does this exact thing so well.
All colorful language aside, what we have here is a brand new Kopp K-35 with torrefied Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides (as it should be) and Kevin’s new ultra-thin “Closet Relic” finish. This finish is put on as thin as possible, and then subtle lacquer checking is introduced to break the surface tension on the top. This makes the guitar vibrate (and sound) like a vintage instrument. We’re here to tell you that Kevin Kopp doesn’t go in for gimmicks. This is the real deal.
1 3/4″ nut, 2 1/4″ string spacing at the saddle, short scale. Comfortable C neck shape. GORGEOUS hand-rubbed sunburst, that looks almost two-tone on the cooked top. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Bone nut and (tall) saddle. Relic’d Waverly tuners complete the look.

Returns
Due to multiple parties such as the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to fully manage stock. The levels of stock can change at any time. You may not receive your order once it has been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. Unfortunately, if thirty days have passed since you purchased your product, we are unable to offer you a return or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It should also be in the original package.
