(NEW) Beard captured our attention in a big way with these American-made, vintage inspired, wallet-friendly flat tops!
The Southside is just a bit smaller than an average OM. With its short scale and with the placement of the bridge almost in the center of the lower bout, this box has tons of warmth and sustain. The sounds is still very dry (or “honest” as we’ve become fond of saying) but there is no hint of the boxiness or compression that we sometimes hear in some small guitars. At its price, it punches well above its weight class!
Solid Engelmann spruce top, laminated Finnish Birch back and sides give the guitar a substantial (though not heavy) feel, and we think it would make an awesome road and stage axe. Solid mahogany braces with X-pattern, deep-scalloped top bracing. 1 3/4″ bone nut with 2 3/16″ string spacing at the saddle. Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard. Gotoh closed-gear tuners. Fully ivoroid-bound body with open-pore finish and full-body and neck sunburst. Includes hard case.
Sadly discontinued, but was an absolutely charming entry to the mid-price market.

Returns
Due to multiple parties such as the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to fully manage stock. The levels of stock can change at any time. You may not receive your order once it has been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. Unfortunately, if thirty days have passed since you purchased your product, we are unable to offer you a return or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It should also be in the original package.
