(NEW) We’ve got an ongoing admiration and fascination with Gretsch guitars here at AMW, so back when Collings decided to develop the Statesman, their trestle-braced, TV Jones-equipped hollow body, we were more than a little excited! Here was a new Collings model that had its own attitude and its own sound, and we became instant fans.
Don’t let the regal and beautiful Sherwood Green finish fool you… this guitar wants to mix it up with the rowdies. The TV Jones Classic Filtertron pickups have magnets twice as large as traditional humbuckers, and produce a mix of snarl and twang that will put just the right ring in your ears. The laminated maple body has no center-block like the SoCo would, so these guitars are quite light for their size. This one weighs in at 5 lbs 12 oz. What good would all that twangy tone be without the bend and warble of the beloved Bigsby tremelo? Put the reverb knob on 11!
Standard features include a mahogany neck with Collings’ “C” neck profile, and ebony fingerboard with 12″ radius and no inlay, short 24 7/8″ scale length and a 1 11/16″ nut. Includes original Ameritage hard case.

Returns
Due to multiple parties such as the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to fully manage stock. The levels of stock can change at any time. You may not receive your order once it has been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. Unfortunately, if thirty days have passed since you purchased your product, we are unable to offer you a return or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It should also be in the original package.
