The L2 is Kevin’s version of the famous L-00, one of the most popular folk and blues guitar shapes of all time. Comfortable and familiar, with high clarity and no small amount of attitude.
Torrefied Adirondack spruce gives us not only great volume and quick response, but also a warmth and broken-in tone that is rarely found in a brand new instrument. Nobody will accuse you of having a shiny, precious new guitar when they see the careful and subtle relic work that Kevin performed on this instrument… the idea of pre-relic’d acoustics is somewhat controversial, but darned if we aren’t starting to love it! Kevin is able to keep the finish at a bare-minimum of thickness, and that means that you can squeeze every ounce out of the sound of this box. Some tasteful finish checking and a few dings and scratches means that you won’t be afraid to play the heck out of it.
This is the second or third instrument we’ve ordered with a black-all-over version of the closet relic finish. Coolest looking guitar in the place, hands down!
Mahogany back, sides and neck. Short scale, with 1 3/4″ nut width on a comfortable shallow “C” neck shape. Madagascar rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone pins and saddle. Pearl inlayed logo on figured ebony peghead overlay. Includes original TKL hard case.

Returns
Due to multiple parties such as the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to fully manage stock. The levels of stock can change at any time. You may not receive your order once it has been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. Unfortunately, if thirty days have passed since you purchased your product, we are unable to offer you a return or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It should also be in the original package.
